Virgo Tea: Rest & Digest Blend is a deliciously fragrant blend, crafted to soothe the tummy and calm the nerves. Cardamom, Coriander, Fennel, Anise and Fenugreek create the beautiful flavor profile of the tea. Slippery Elm adds a mild natural sweetness, aids digestion and has a nice smooth feel. Lemon Balm and Chamomile are incorporated in the blend for their calming effects.

Based on the theory of Medical Astrology, every astrological sign corresponds to parts of the body. And because medicinal herbs have use and function for different parts of the body as well, when the two are properly aligned, specific herbs can help each sign. Astrological teas can also align with energetic qualities of a sign. Every sign corresponds to a season and to one of the four elements, as well. The herbs in this blend are therefore crafted with this in mind!

Virgo is ruled by both Mercury (the planet of the mind) and the Earth (all things earth momma!) This combination can teach us a lot about how we receive, process/digest, organize, utilize and share information. It can also teach us about the body-mind and how invaluable it is to support this symbiosis!

Virgos have an affinity with the digestive system and the nervous system. They may therefore be more prone to sensitive digestion, gut issues and anxious or nervous states. This tea may help with indigestion, nausea, inflammation and related pain. It may also be soothing and relaxing.

Digestive teas are often made with mint, but because digestive issues like GERD can be worsened by mints, I opted to leave this ingredient out. I chose instead to make a gentler blend, with more aromatic herbs.

Virgo Tea is a mild and palatable blend, great to drink after a meal, or anytime to help soothe the tummy and nerves.

Contains 1.2 oz of tea. Enough tea to make 18-36 cups, with suggested ratio of 1-2 tsp of loose tea per 8 oz cup of water. Brewing instructions included. This tea is made with certified organic ingredients, as are all of Mystic Crow's teas. Sweeten if desired with a little Stevia extract or honey, or drink as is. Enjoy the tea! Drink Peacefully.
